The Slumdog Plot

Since the Oscars are announced we have been celebrating the success of Slumdog Millionaire emphatically. Why? First of all it is not an Indian but a British film. It is just a good film. And it can be appreciated the way it is conceived. But to what level? This film has shown India in bad light. Showering so many Oscars on this film is a conspiracy to highlight this factor especially at a point of time when India is considered to be a preferred business destination. Today economies of most of the developed countries are in the worse shape. Where as India is one of the fastest growing economy. Many of the businesses/Investments are being shifted to Asia/India/Mumbai. There is an urgent need for international fraternity to stop this somewhere and save the jobs in their country. This film gave them the opportunity and they grabbed it. They have made this film as famous as possible. No doubt I am proud of Rehman but even though, many of his fans can vouch that ‘Jai Ho’ is not the best of his work.
